Who’s Sal?

Sal is our Beneteau Oceanis 393 sailing yacht, named after Sal, our loving, male Portuguese Water Dog.

Sal, the vessel, is a family project inspired by both perspectives for enjoying life. Our family boat to get away on weekends and holidays, but also the base for the Sailing with Sal experiences. It’s aboard Sal where we welcome our guests to join us on a cool and relaxed sailing tour.

Our long and diverse connection with the sea merges into the Sailing with Sal experiences. That’s our way to share the joy of nature, water, sun, and of course the breeze.

Miguel, the captain, welcomes all the guests aboard. With long experience with, scuba diving, underwater photography, surfing, and windsurfing, sailing was the natural way to embrace adventure and explore the sea. 

Then who knows, you can meet Beatriz, our 21-year-old daughter, eager to see the world. Sometimes also aboard you can meet Sal himself, the quiet friendly dog proud of his boat. Anyways a glass of Portuguese wine, or a cold beer while discovering the beautiful coast of Lisbon will surely offer you a pleasant time with us.
