Can't say enough positive things about our romantic evening on Miguel's sailboat. Captain/owner Miguel and First Mate Mariana made all eight guests feel welcome and special.
Being on the water gave a relaxed picture of the city. The attention of Miguel and Mariana, the ruffle of the unfurled sails, the perfect sunset, the fado music in the background--each played counterpoint, creating a perfect evening. Even a playful group of dolphins made an appearance closely the boat.
Be sure to have a glass (or two!) of the green wine, produced nowhere but on one small Portugese island.(Ask Miguel to describe it's attributes--he knows the wine well.)
Relax with Miguel and Mariana after a long day of sightseeing. They'll make sure you have an evening to remember! - Thomas Zins - 1 day ago

- Tatiana - 6 days ago

Our Tagus River sailboat sunset cruise on a 39ft Beneteau was one of the highlights of our trip. Miguel, our skipper, was fantastic, welcoming and knowledgeable. His first mate, Inès, was a lady sailor, which I found especially inspiring as a fellow female learning to sail back home. The sunset over the river was beautiful, and the relaxed pace of the sail made it even more enjoyable. Miguel even let us take a turn at the helm, which was such a fun and memorable experience for my husband, a sailor from Toronto, ON, Canada. We also enjoyed several glasses of vinho verde along the way. All in all, a wonderful way to see the city from the water and an experience we’d highly recommend. - Heather - 2 weeks ago

Beautiful trip on the Tagus River, Miguel & Lorenzo were fabulous hosts. Generous offer of different wines or beers. Blankets to keep us warm as the sun went down and a good commentary of the key points along the river. I would strongly recommend this trip. - Diana Elizabeth - 2 weeks ago
